York Consultants is recruiting on behalf of Matic Pro General Contracting LLC to appoint a qualified Accountant in Abu Dhabi. This full-time, permanent position is ideal for an organized finance professional with two to four years of general ledger experience who excels at managing accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and routine tax filings.

The primary responsibilities of this position involve managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining updated financial ledgers, and preparing core transactional documentation. Daily activities include generating invoices, processing payment vouchers, tracking receipts, and reconciling daily cash and bank balances. The Accountant will monitor Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable sub-ledgers, assist with monthly payroll preparation, maintain accurate UAE VAT records, compile monthly management financial reports, and provide complete documentation support during internal and external audit reviews.

Candidates applying for this role must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a closely related field, backed by two to four years of relevant accounting experience, preferably gained within the United Arab Emirates. Practical working knowledge of UAE VAT rules and basic corporate accounting requirements is required. Applicants should demonstrate strong Microsoft Excel and MS Office proficiency, clear written and verbal English communication skills, and high attention to transactional detail.
