Financial Management and Reporting: The Accountant will be responsible for managing all financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations. The role involves ensuring that financial data is accurately recorded and reported in compliance with UAE accounting standards and company policies.

ERP and System Operations: The ideal candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, managing end-to-end accounting workflows within the ERP system. They will ensure that all financial transactions are properly integrated and that system-generated reports are accurate and timely for management analysis.

Cost Control and Inventory Accounting: This position requires close collaboration with the supply chain and procurement departments to maintain accurate records of inventory costs, stock valuations, and consumption patterns. The Accountant will oversee cost control measures to enhance profitability and reduce waste.

VAT and Compliance: The Accountant will handle VAT filing, tax reconciliation, and ensure compliance with UAE tax laws and reporting standards. They will assist external auditors, prepare supporting documents, and ensure all statutory requirements are met accurately and on time.

Analytical and Strategic Support: The role includes preparing monthly management reports, budget comparisons, and cash flow forecasts. The candidate will provide actionable insights to support decision-making and highlight financial trends affecting business performance in the FMCG environment.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration: The Accountant will work closely with the operations, procurement, and sales teams to align financial practices with business goals. Effective communication and proactive problem-solving will be essential in improving ERP efficiency and financial reporting accuracy.
