Job Description

Role Overview – Nasco Energy Fuel Trading LLC is hiring an Accountant cum Administrator for a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. This position is ideal for accomplished professionals with strong combined accounting and administrative expertise, fuel trading and energy sector knowledge, and the ability to manage both accounting and administrative functions effectively, maintain financial records, support office operations, ensure regulatory compliance, manage administrative activities, and contribute to organizational success within a dynamic fuel trading organization.

Financial Transaction Recording – You will record financial transactions by entering data into accounting systems, classifying transactions properly, and maintaining transaction accuracy. You will ensure accurate transaction processing and comprehensive financial records. You should maintain transaction recording proficiency.

General Ledger Management – You will manage and maintain the general ledger by recording transactions, ensuring accurate account classification, reconciling accounts, and verifying balances. You will review transaction postings, investigate discrepancies, and ensure the general ledger accurately reflects fuel trading operations. You should maintain accurate general ledger records.

Accounts Receivable Management – You will manage accounts receivable by processing invoices, recording payments, maintaining client account records, and tracking collections. You will prepare aging reports, monitor outstanding balances, and maintain accurate AR documentation. You should manage AR operations effectively.

Sales and Revenue Recording – You will record sales transactions by processing fuel sale invoices, documenting revenue, maintaining records, and supporting revenue tracking. You will ensure accurate revenue documentation and collection. You should manage fuel sales accounting.

Accounts Payable Oversight – You will oversee accounts payable by processing supplier invoices, coordinating payment processing, maintaining vendor relationships, and managing payment schedules. You will optimize payment timing, verify invoice accuracy, and maintain accurate payable records. You should manage AP operations effectively.

Vendor Invoice Management – You will manage vendor invoices by reviewing documentation, verifying details, processing payments, and maintaining records. You will track vendor expenses and organize supplier documentation. You should manage vendor payments.

Fuel Cost and Inventory Management – You will manage fuel costs by tracking purchases, organizing expenses, analyzing cost allocation, and maintaining records. You will account for fuel inventory and trading costs. You should manage fuel cost accounting.

Trading Operations Cost Tracking – You will track trading operations costs by organizing expenses, monitoring spending, analyzing allocation, and maintaining documentation. You will support fuel trading cost accounting and expense tracking. You should track trading operations expenses.
