EPTA Accounting & Bookkeeping Services, an FTA-approved firm serving clients across the UAE since 2018, is looking for an Accountant who wants to grow within a professional practice that works with over twenty sectors and a diverse portfolio of clients .

This is a role for someone who enjoys variety—who likes the challenge of managing multiple client accounts, each with its own quirks and requirements. You will maintain accounting records for clients across industries, record daily transactions and journal entries, and prepare bank reconciliations and account reconciliations. You will manage accounts receivable and payable, prepare monthly and periodic financial reports, and assist with financial statements and month-end and year-end closing procedures. A significant part of your role will involve preparing and reviewing VAT returns, supporting UAE Corporate Tax compliance, and preparing working papers for audit and review engagements. You will also communicate directly with clients to obtain the information you need, ensuring accuracy and completeness while meeting deadlines.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with practical accounting experience and a good understanding of accounting principles, standards, and financial reporting. You have working knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements and are proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. You can manage multiple client accounts and assignments simultaneously, and you bring strong analytical, reconciliation, and reporting skills. Attention to detail, organisation, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential. Previous experience in an accounting, auditing, or bookkeeping firm is an advantage, and Arabic language proficiency is a plus.

This is a full-time, on-site position based at EPTA's Head Office in Ajman, UAE. The salary range is AED 4,000 to AED 5,000 per month, depending on qualifications, experience, and interview performance. The role comes with a defined job code (AC-EP-9926) and an immediate start date upon successful completion of the recruitment process.
