Role Overview – International Aseptic Paperboard Mfg. LLC is looking to hire an Accountant with 2 to 3 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. This position is ideal for accounting professionals with strong knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting theory, and basic accounting principles who can handle bank transactions, process invoices, manage trade finance, and maintain accurate financial records.

Bank Transaction Management – You will handle bank transactions related to import and export operations including processing payments, managing receipts, coordinating foreign currency transactions, and ensuring proper documentation and recording of all banking activities supporting international trade.

Vendor Invoice Processing – You will process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently by verifying invoice details, matching with purchase orders and receipts, ensuring proper approvals, recording in accounting systems, and coordinating timely payments to suppliers.

Letters of Credit Management – You will manage Letters of Credit (L/Cs) and Bank Guarantees by coordinating with banks, reviewing L/C terms, ensuring compliance with conditions, submitting required documents, and managing the financial instruments that facilitate secure international trade transactions.

Documentary Collections – You will prepare and handle documentary collection and outward collection of documents for export transactions, coordinating with banks, ensuring proper documentation, and managing the collection process that secures payment for exported goods.

Export L/C Oversight – You will oversee export letters of credit and ensure proper documentation by reviewing L/C requirements, preparing export documents, ensuring compliance with L/C terms, submitting documents timely, and managing the process that secures payment from overseas buyers.

Bank Reconciliation – You will perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records by matching bank statements with accounting records, identifying discrepancies, investigating variances, and ensuring the integrity of cash and banking data.

WPS Support – You will support Wages Protection System (WPS) processing by preparing salary files, coordinating with banks for salary transfers, ensuring compliance with UAE labor regulations, and supporting timely, compliant salary payments to employees.

E-Archiving System – You will maintain an organized E-archiving system for financial documents by digitizing records, organizing electronic files, ensuring proper filing structures, maintaining accessibility, and supporting document retrieval for accounting and audit purposes.

Audit Support – You will assist with audit requirements and provide necessary documentation by preparing audit schedules, providing requested records, responding to auditor queries, coordinating with auditors, and supporting smooth audit processes.

Educational Background – A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Your educational foundation provides the accounting knowledge, principles, and professional preparation necessary for effective accounting practice.

Experience Requirement – 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar accounting position is required. Your experience should demonstrate competence in accounting functions, financial record-keeping, and supporting business operations through professional accounting work.

Trade Finance Knowledge – Strong knowledge of trade finance including Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, documentary collections, and export L/C processes is essential given the import/export nature of the business.
