Job Description
Role Overview The Account Receivable Accountant will play a vital role in strengthening the finance function by managing receivables, improving cash flow efficiency, and safeguarding company assets. This position requires a hands-on professional who can independently manage customer accounts while supporting the organization’s financial growth in the UAE.
Accounts Receivable Management The role involves overseeing the complete accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, customer account monitoring, and timely follow-up on outstanding balances. The candidate will ensure that receivables are accurately recorded and collections are aligned with company policies.
Collections & Credit Control The Account Receivable Accountant will actively manage collections, assess customer credit limits, and reduce overdue balances. Strong communication skills are required to liaise with customers and internal sales teams to resolve payment issues efficiently.
Cash Flow & Reporting The candidate will support cash flow planning by providing accurate receivable reports and aging analysis. Advanced Excel skills will be used to prepare detailed reports that assist management in decision-making and financial forecasting.
ERP & System Handling The role requires hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or M3, with exposure to FOCUS being an added advantage. Accurate system updates and reconciliation are essential to maintain reliable financial data.
Compliance & Coordination The Account Receivable Accountant will ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards while coordinating with finance, sales, and operations teams. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are critical to maintaining accuracy and protecting company assets.
