Job Description

Direct Sales and Customer Engagement:

The Van Salesman will be responsible for promoting and selling FMCG products directly to retailers, ensuring maximum visibility and availability of the company’s products. You will interact with store managers, build strong customer relationships, and represent the brand professionally while meeting sales targets consistently.

Territory and Route Management:

You will manage assigned sales territories and daily delivery routes, ensuring timely and efficient product distribution. Proper route planning, adherence to schedules, and optimization of deliveries are essential to maintain customer satisfaction and enhance sales performance.

Product Placement and Merchandising:

You will ensure proper product placement according to brand guidelines, maintaining visibility, stock rotation, and compliance with promotional standards. This includes checking shelves, arranging products neatly, and ensuring displays reflect marketing campaigns effectively.

Stock Monitoring and Replenishment:

Monitoring inventory levels at client locations and coordinating replenishment with the warehouse team is a key responsibility. You will proactively communicate low-stock situations, manage returns, and ensure all products are delivered in good condition and in a timely manner.

Reporting and Documentation:

You will maintain accurate sales records, delivery notes, and customer interaction logs. Timely submission of reports on sales, stock levels, and market feedback will support management in making informed business decisions and improving overall performance.

Compliance and Safety:

You will ensure adherence to company policies, UAE traffic regulations, and safety standards while driving the sales van. Maintaining vehicle condition, handling products safely, and following proper delivery protocols are crucial to prevent accidents and product damage.
