Responsibilities Overview: The Sr. Quantity Surveyor at GreenScape Developments LLC will be responsible for managing all costs related to building and civil engineering projects, from initial calculations to final figures. The role demands a strategic and analytical approach to cost planning and control, ensuring that the company secures the best possible value while maintaining the quality of the construction. 

Cost Estimation & BOQ Preparation: You will be in charge of preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimations during the pre-contract stage. A meticulous understanding of material requirements, labor costs, and market trends will be essential. Experience in pricing variations and analyzing cost implications is also a key aspect of this responsibility.

Tendering & Bidding Process: As a senior professional, you will manage the full tendering cycle—from floating tenders to final negotiation. Your input will be instrumental in determining tender strategies and managing communication with subcontractors, vendors, and consultants during the bidding stage to ensure accurate submissions.

Contract Administration: Handling the contractual side of projects, including contract interpretation and dispute resolution, will be part of your regular duties. You will ensure all stakeholders are compliant with contractual obligations and will coordinate changes and amendments with legal and project management teams to safeguard company interests.

Budget Management & Cost Control: The Sr. Quantity Surveyor will take a proactive role in budget forecasting, cost tracking, and controlling financial expenditures throughout the project lifecycle. You will collaborate with the project management team to provide regular budget updates and advise on corrective actions to remain within approved financial parameters.

Quality Assurance & Risk Mitigation: You will be expected to identify potential project risks early and provide recommendations to mitigate them. Ensuring project activities are compliant with industry standards, regulations, and internal guidelines will be a core part of your quality control responsibilities.
