Position Overview : The Senior Welding Engineer will be responsible for providing advanced welding and metallurgical expertise to support engineering activities and ensure full compliance with contractual requirements, industry standards, and evolving technological practices within oil and gas projects.

Welding Engineering Support : This role involves delivering metallurgical and welding guidance to multiple engineering disciplines, ensuring welding solutions meet design intent, safety standards, and international codes throughout all project phases.

Procedure Development : The engineer will qualify welding procedures, prepare welding procedure specifications, and develop detailed weld plans in alignment with approved codes, project specifications, and quality requirements.

Inspection and Testing Oversight : Responsibilities include performing and witnessing welding inspections, reviewing mechanical tests for material qualification, and ensuring pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping, skids, and structures meet stringent quality standards.

Construction Surveillance : The role requires continuous surveillance inspections during fabrication, site construction, and welding activities to ensure workmanship, materials, and procedures comply with approved standards and project requirements.

Contractor Compliance Monitoring : The Senior Welding Engineer will monitor contractor and subcontractor welding activities, verify adherence to quality systems, and take corrective actions when deviations are identified.
