Job Overview: We are urgently seeking an experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer to join our construction team in the UAE. This is a senior-level role requiring in-depth technical expertise, leadership qualities, and a proven record of managing quality assurance and quality control functions in large-scale construction projects. Only candidates currently based in the UAE will be considered for this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities: The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring QA/QC systems and procedures across various construction projects. They will ensure all site activities meet international quality standards, client specifications, and project requirements. This includes preparing quality control plans, conducting inspections, and providing technical guidance to site teams.

Project Involvement: The Senior QA/QC Engineer will take ownership of ensuring compliance at every stage of construction—from materials testing and approval to on-site execution and final handover. They will liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to guarantee quality standards are consistently maintained. Their role is crucial in reducing rework, avoiding delays, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Compliance and Standards: The position demands a strong understanding of international standards such as ISO, ASTM, and BS codes, along with UAE municipal guidelines. The candidate must ensure strict adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements, health and safety protocols, and internal company quality policies.

Team Coordination: The ideal candidate will lead QA/QC engineers and inspectors, ensuring all quality objectives are communicated and achieved. They will be responsible for conducting internal training, audits, and performance assessments to ensure the team delivers excellence in every aspect of construction quality.

Reporting and Documentation: A vital part of the role involves maintaining detailed records of inspections, tests, and reports to present to project management and clients. The candidate will prepare non-conformance reports, recommend corrective actions, and oversee the closure of quality issues in a timely manner.
