Job Description

Role Overview – Construction General Contracting House Limited is hiring a Finance Manager for a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi. This position is ideal for experienced finance leaders with strong financial expertise, construction industry knowledge, and the ability to manage financial operations effectively, oversee construction accounting, ensure regulatory compliance, support project profitability, and contribute to organizational financial success within a dynamic construction contracting business environment.

Financial Operations Management – You will oversee comprehensive financial operations by managing accounting activities, coordinating financial processes, and ensuring efficient operations. You will supervise accounting staff, establish financial standards, and maintain organized systems. You will ensure financial accuracy and support business objectives through effective financial management.

Construction Project Accounting – You will manage construction project accounting by tracking project revenues, recording project costs, and maintaining project financial records. You will allocate costs to correct projects, monitor project profitability, and support project financial analysis. You should understand construction accounting and project-based financial management.

Financial Statement Preparation and Reporting – You will oversee preparation of financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in compliance with IFRS standards and UAE regulations. You will ensure statements are accurate, complete, and prepared within required timeframes. You will provide appropriate disclosures and support regulatory submission.

Construction Cost Accounting and Analysis – You will manage construction cost accounting by tracking material costs, labor expenses, and overhead charges. You will analyze cost performance, identify cost variances, and support cost control. You will maintain accurate cost records for projects and support profitability analysis.

General Ledger Management and Control – You will manage the general ledger by ensuring accurate transaction recording, proper account classification, and monthly reconciliation. You will supervise posting activities, investigate discrepancies, and ensure balances match supporting documentation. You will maintain accounting accuracy.
