Role Overview – Gulf Agency Company Ltd. is hiring a Senior Accountant for a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. This position is ideal for experienced accounting professionals with strong financial expertise, business operations knowledge, and the ability to manage accounting operations effectively, oversee financial records, ensure regulatory compliance, provide financial analysis, support budgets, and contribute to organizational financial success within a dynamic agency and services organization.

Financial Statement Preparation and Review – You will oversee preparation of comprehensive financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in compliance with IFRS standards and UAE regulatory requirements. You will review statements for accuracy, ensure proper disclosures, and support timely reporting.

General Ledger Management and Control – You will manage and maintain the general ledger by recording all financial transactions, ensuring accurate account classification, and overseeing monthly reconciliation processes. You will verify transaction postings, investigate discrepancies, supervise accounting staff, and ensure the general ledger balances with supporting documentation.

Accounts Receivable Management – You will manage accounts receivable by processing invoices, recording payments, and maintaining client account records. You will follow up on outstanding invoices, prepare aging reports, implement collection strategies, and maintain accurate receivable records.

Accounts Payable Oversight – You will oversee accounts payable by processing supplier invoices, coordinating payment processing, and maintaining vendor relationships. You will optimize payment timing, verify invoice accuracy, ensure proper documentation, and maintain accurate payable records.

Cash Flow Management and Analysis – You will manage cash flow by analyzing cash position, preparing cash forecasts, and supporting working capital optimization. You will coordinate with operations regarding cash requirements, manage payment timing, and optimize liquidity supporting financial stability.
