Role Overview – Al Meem Technical Services LLC is hiring a Senior Accountant for a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. This position is ideal for experienced accounting professionals with strong financial expertise, technical services sector knowledge, and the ability to manage accounting operations effectively, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain financial accuracy, provide financial analysis, and support organizational financial management within a dynamic technical services environment.

Financial Statement Preparation and Analysis – You will prepare comprehensive financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in compliance with IFRS standards and UAE regulatory requirements. You will ensure statements are accurate, complete, and prepared within required timeframes for management review, stakeholder reporting, and regulatory submission.

General Ledger Management and Oversight – You will manage and maintain the general ledger by recording all financial transactions, ensuring accurate classification of accounts, and overseeing monthly reconciliation processes. You will verify transaction postings, investigate discrepancies, supervise junior staff in data entry, and ensure the general ledger balances with supporting documentation.

Accounts Receivable Supervision – You will supervise accounts receivable operations, monitor client receivables, and ensure timely collection of outstanding amounts. You will analyze aging receivables, implement collection strategies, address disputed invoices, and maintain accurate receivable records and performance reporting.

Accounts Payable Management – You will manage accounts payable operations by processing supplier and vendor invoices, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and documentation, and managing payment schedules. You will maintain vendor accounts, resolve discrepancies, optimize payment terms, and ensure proper documentation and approval workflows.

Project-Based Accounting – You will manage project accounting for technical services contracts by allocating revenues and costs to appropriate projects, tracking project profitability, and ensuring accurate project financial reporting. You will coordinate with project managers, maintain project cost allocations, and support project financial analysis.
