Role Overview – Al Borg Diagnostics is hiring a Senior Accountant for a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. This position is ideal for experienced accounting professionals with strong financial expertise, healthcare accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage accounting operations effectively, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain financial accuracy, provide financial analysis, and support organizational financial management within a dynamic healthcare diagnostics environment.

Financial Statement Preparation and Reporting – You will prepare comprehensive financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in compliance with IFRS standards and DHA regulations. You will ensure statements are accurate, complete, and prepared within required timeframes for management review, stakeholder reporting, and regulatory submission.

General Ledger and Account Management – You will manage and maintain the general ledger by recording all financial transactions, ensuring accurate classification of accounts, and reconciling entries monthly. You will verify that all transactions are posted correctly, support the closing process, ensure the general ledger balances with supporting documentation, and maintain account hierarchies.

Healthcare Billing and Revenue Management – You will oversee patient billing processes, ensure accurate recording of medical service revenues, and manage billing compliance with healthcare regulations. You will coordinate with medical billing staff, review billing accuracy, and ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with healthcare accounting standards.

Insurance Claims Management –– You will manage insurance claim processes, verify claim submission accuracy, track claim status, and follow up on outstanding claims. You will reconcile insurance payments, identify claim denials or adjustments, and resolve discrepancies with insurance providers.

Accounts Receivable Oversight – You will supervise accounts receivable operations, monitor patient and insurance company receivables, and ensure timely collection of outstanding amounts. You will analyze aging receivables, implement collection strategies, and maintain accurate receivable records and reports.
