About the Role

As the Security Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of security operations, including developing and implementing comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols that align with Accor Group's global standards. You'll lead, train, and mentor a team of security professionals, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively to any situation. Your role will involve conducting regular risk assessments, monitoring surveillance systems, coordinating emergency response procedures, and maintaining strong relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and property assets.

You'll work closely with other department heads to integrate security measures into daily operations, conduct safety audits, investigate incidents, and prepare detailed reports for senior management. Your ability to remain calm under pressure, make quick and informed decisions, and demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills will be essential. You'll also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and security regulations, managing security budgets, and continuously improving security systems and processes to stay ahead of potential threats and challenges.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in security management, preferably within the hospitality or hotel industry. You should have a strong understanding of security operations, risk management, emergency response protocols, and guest safety procedures. Previous experience leading and managing security teams is essential, along with excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills that enable you to build trust and collaboration across all levels of the organization.

You should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the capacity to identify potential security risks before they escalate. Knowledge of modern security technologies, surveillance systems, access control systems, and emergency management software is highly valued. A relevant security certification or qualification, such as CPP, PSP, or equivalent, would be advantageous. You must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as security operations run around the clock.
