Job Description
Role Overview: Pareto is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to create and drive a new business function within the London Area, United Kingdom. You will be instrumental in identifying key target accounts, developing and implementing top-of-funnel sales strategies, and building a high-performing sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new area of the business and make a significant impact on the company's growth.
Create and Drive a New Business Function: You will be responsible for establishing and leading a new business development function from the ground up, defining its objectives, strategies, and processes.
Identify and Engage Target Accounts: You will identify key players within target accounts and develop effective outreach strategies utilizing a variety of touch points, including cold calling, email marketing, and social media engagement.
Focus on Top of Funnel Sales Strategies: You will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative strategies specifically focused on generating new leads and building a robust sales pipeline at the top of the funnel.
Drive and Maintain Your Own Sales Leads: While building a team, you will also be expected to actively drive and manage your own sales leads, demonstrating best practices in new business acquisition.
Manage Internal Relationships: You will cultivate and maintain strong internal relationships with other departments to facilitate effective account management and drive increased client spend.
Set Strategic Direction for Your Team: You will define the strategic direction for your new business sales team, aligning their efforts with the overall company goals and market opportunities.
Set and Monitor Incentives: You will design and implement effective incentive programs to motivate and reward the sales team, driving high performance and achievement of targets.
Create and Drive a High-Performance Culture: You will foster a positive and high-performance culture within your team, promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Communicate Effectively with Senior Management: You will regularly communicate with senior management regarding team performance, progress against targets, and key insights from the market.
Maintain a High Level of CRM Management: You will ensure the team maintains accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM system, providing valuable data for reporting and analysis.
Hire, Onboard, Train, and Manage New Sales Talent: You will be responsible for the full cycle of building your team, including hiring, onboarding, providing comprehensive training, and ongoing management of new sales talent.
