Overview of the Role: We are actively seeking a qualified Safety Officer with experience in construction site safety, including confined spaces. The position is based in the UAE and requires immediate joining. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety professional to contribute to high-impact construction operations.

Key Responsibilities: As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing health and safety policies and procedures at the construction site. Your day-to-day duties will include monitoring work areas for safety compliance and proactively identifying hazards.

Risk Management & Auditing: You will conduct site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments regularly. Preparing reports and suggesting improvements or corrective actions will be part of your regular functions to ensure a safe work environment.

Regulatory Compliance: The ideal candidate should be well-versed in UAE labor laws and safety regulations, as well as international standards such as OSHA or NEBOSH. You’ll ensure the site complies with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Training & Awareness: You will lead safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and emergency drills for workers and subcontractors. Promoting a safety-first culture across the workforce is a key part of your responsibility.

Documentation & Reporting: You must maintain thorough documentation including incident/accident reports, safety audit results, and compliance checklists. These will be essential for both internal assessments and regulatory inspections.
