Role Overview – Millennium Hotels & Resorts MEA Corporate Office is hiring a Receivables Officer for a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. This position is ideal for detail-oriented financial professionals with strong receivables management expertise, hospitality accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage guest and corporate receivables effectively, process payments, ensure collection compliance, maintain financial accuracy, and support revenue optimization within a dynamic hotel group environment.
Guest Receivables Management – You will manage guest receivables by monitoring outstanding guest accounts, tracking payment status, and ensuring timely collection of guest charges. You will reconcile guest folios, identify outstanding balances, and coordinate collection efforts for unpaid accounts. You will maintain accurate guest receivable records and support the front office with billing inquiries.
Corporate Account Management – You will oversee corporate account receivables by managing contracts, tracking corporate billing, and ensuring timely payment from corporate clients. You will coordinate corporate agreements, manage contract terms, and maintain corporate account relationships. You will monitor corporate account aging and implement collection strategies for corporate clients.
Payment Processing and Recording – You will process guest and corporate payments by recording receipts, updating payment records, and reconciling payments to accounts. You will handle multiple payment methods including credit cards, transfers, and cash. You will ensure accurate payment application and timely deposit processing.
Accounts Receivable Reconciliation – You will reconcile guest and corporate receivables by comparing guest folios with accounting records, identifying discrepancies, and resolving differences. You will perform regular reconciliations ensuring receivable records match general ledger balances. You will investigate aged items and support accurate financial reporting.
Collection and Follow-up Activities – You will manage collection activities by following up on overdue accounts, sending payment reminders, and coordinating collection efforts. You will contact guests and corporate clients regarding outstanding balances, address payment concerns, and work toward resolution. You will escalate serious collection issues appropriately.
Aging Analysis and Reporting – You will prepare aging analysis reports documenting outstanding receivables by age category and account type. You will analyze aging trends, identify patterns, and provide insights to management. You will track key metrics including days sales outstanding (DSO) and collection rates.
