Job Description
Cost Estimation and Budgeting – The Quantity Surveyor (Civil) will prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring budgets are realistic and aligned with project scope. You will be responsible for tracking expenditures and controlling project costs throughout the lifecycle.
Tendering and Procurement Support – You will participate in the tendering process by preparing bills of quantities, evaluating bids, and coordinating with suppliers and contractors to ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
Contract Management and Documentation – The role involves managing contracts, maintaining detailed records, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. You will help minimize financial risks and support legal and contractual accuracy for all projects.
On-Site Measurement and Verification – You will visit construction sites to verify quantities, confirm progress, and validate that work complies with approved drawings and specifications. Your attention to detail will help maintain accurate reporting and prevent cost overruns.
Financial Reporting and Analysis – You will prepare detailed reports on project costs, forecasts, and financial variances. Analysis of this data will support management in decision-making, cost control, and planning for future projects.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Coordination – You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and contractors, ensuring smooth communication and coordination to achieve timely project delivery and maintain high-quality standards.
