Datum General Contracting is looking for a qualified and experienced Civil Project Engineer to join their growing team in Abu Dhabi. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned construction professional with a strong background in building and villa construction projects who is ready to take on a hands on and impactful site engineering role within a professional and dynamic contracting company.

In this role you will be responsible for planning, executing, and supervising construction activities on site, coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams, and ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project schedules. You will monitor progress and prepare daily and weekly reports, review shop drawings and method statements, and ensure full compliance with QA/QC and HSE requirements. Managing site resources including manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently, attending site meetings, coordinating inspections and approvals, and identifying and resolving technical issues on site will also be central to your day to day responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction with a focus on buildings and villas being highly preferred. Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and site execution, experience handling consultants and project coordination, and familiarity with drawings, BOQ, and project planning are essential requirements for this role. Good leadership and communication skills and UAE based experience are highly preferred. Immediate joiners will be given strong preference during the selection process.
