Role Overview – Glassline Industries is looking for an experienced Plant Manager with minimum 5-7 years of experience in façade manufacturing or related industries and strong knowledge of production management, quality control, and operational excellence. This position is ideal for manufacturing professionals with strong leadership and plant operations skills who can join a growing façade solutions company in Abu Dhabi.

Production Management – You will manage production operations by planning manufacturing schedules, coordinating production lines, overseeing fabrication processes, monitoring output targets, ensuring efficient workflow, and delivering high-quality façade products on time to meet project deadlines and client expectations.

Quality Control and Assurance – You will manage quality control procedures by implementing quality standards, conducting inspections, monitoring product specifications, ensuring compliance with façade industry requirements, addressing quality issues, and maintaining excellence in all manufactured products.

Team Leadership and Development – You will lead production teams by supervising workers, assigning responsibilities, providing training and guidance, conducting performance reviews, building team capabilities, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Plant Operations Management – You will oversee plant operations including machinery maintenance, equipment utilization, facility management, safety protocols, inventory control, and ensuring the manufacturing facility operates efficiently with minimal downtime.

Health and Safety Management – You will ensure workplace health and safety by implementing safety procedures, conducting safety audits, ensuring PPE compliance, addressing safety hazards, coordinating safety training, and maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.

Materials and Inventory Control – You will manage materials and inventory by coordinating raw material procurement, monitoring stock levels, ensuring material availability for production, controlling inventory costs, and liaising with procurement teams for timely material supply.

Process Improvement and Efficiency – You will drive process improvements by identifying inefficiencies, implementing lean manufacturing principles, optimizing production workflows, reducing waste, improving productivity, and enhancing overall operational performance.

Production Management Skills – Strong production management skills including production planning, scheduling, workflow optimization, capacity planning, and ensuring on-time delivery of manufactured products are essential for effective plant operations.

Quality Management Expertise – Strong knowledge of quality control procedures, inspection methods, quality standards, testing protocols, and ensuring product specifications meet industry and client requirements is crucial for maintaining excellence.

Leadership and Team Management – Strong leadership abilities including team supervision, people management, performance coaching, conflict resolution, and building effective teams are essential for managing plant personnel successfully.

Health and Safety Knowledge – Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations, safety management systems, hazard identification, accident prevention, and creating safe working environments is required for protecting employees.

Operational Efficiency Skills – Strong skills in operational efficiency, process improvement, lean manufacturing, waste reduction, cost control, and productivity enhancement enable you to optimize plant performance and profitability.

Software Proficiency – Proficiency with production management software, ERP systems, and MS Office supports efficient planning, reporting, documentation, and operational management.
