Key Responsibilities: The PE Teacher will be responsible for delivering a broad and balanced physical education curriculum to students across key stages. Responsibilities include planning and executing fitness programs, organizing team sports, developing health awareness initiatives, and fostering a positive sporting culture within the school environment. The role requires daily student interaction, fitness supervision, and motivation in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Curriculum Delivery: You will design lessons aligned with IGCSE/British Curriculum standards, integrating physical activity with academic outcomes. The teacher must promote discipline, teamwork, and fair play while helping students build lifelong healthy habits. You’ll also participate in organizing inter-house and inter-school competitions, sports days, and other extracurricular activities.

Student Development: Beyond physical training, you will focus on student confidence, leadership skills, and personal development. The role involves recognizing individual needs, modifying instruction accordingly, and fostering an inclusive environment where every student can succeed, regardless of their athletic ability.

Collaboration & Communication: You will collaborate with fellow teachers, school leadership, and parents to support each student’s overall development. The role demands strong communication and time management skills, along with the ability to work as part of a diverse faculty.

Ideal Candidate Profile: The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field, along with a valid teaching qualification such as PGCE or B.Ed. A minimum of 2 years' experience teaching the British Curriculum is essential. Preference will be given to native English speakers with a passion for youth fitness and school athletics.
