Role Overview – Dar Al Hakim Shipping LLC, a leading freight forwarding company in the UAE, is hiring Operation Executives in Dubai. This position is exclusively for freshers (no prior work experience required) and is ideal for recent graduates, particularly those with Graduation or Master's degree in Shipping, who want to start their careers in freight forwarding and logistics operations.

Freight Forwarding Operations – You will support freight forwarding operations including coordinating shipments, managing documentation, tracking cargo movements, liaising with carriers and agents, and ensuring smooth execution of import and export activities across air, sea, and land transportation modes.

Documentation Management – You will manage shipping documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, customs documents, certificates of origin, and other paperwork required for international freight movement. Proper documentation ensures regulatory compliance and smooth cargo clearance.

Shipment Coordination – You will coordinate shipments by booking cargo space, arranging pickups and deliveries, tracking shipment status, communicating with clients about cargo progress, and ensuring timely movement of goods from origin to destination.

Customer Communication – You will communicate with customers regarding shipment status, documentation requirements, delivery schedules, and addressing inquiries. Responsive communication ensures customer satisfaction and builds trust in the company's freight forwarding services.

Carrier and Agent Liaison – You will liaise with shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, customs agents, and overseas partners to coordinate cargo movement, resolve issues, obtain quotations, and ensure seamless collaboration across the freight forwarding network.

Operational Support – You will provide operational support to senior team members by assisting with bookings, preparing quotations, updating systems, maintaining records, and handling various tasks that support efficient freight forwarding operations.

Learning and Development – You will learn freight forwarding processes, international trade procedures, customs regulations, shipping terminology, and operational systems under the guidance of experienced team members, developing expertise in logistics operations.

Problem-Solving – You will assist in resolving operational issues such as shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, cargo damages, or customer concerns by working with relevant parties and implementing solutions.
