Job Description
Patient Care Assistance: The Nursing Assistant will provide essential bedside support to patients by assisting with daily living activities, monitoring comfort levels, maintaining hygiene, and ensuring the highest standards of compassionate and attentive care throughout their hospital stay.
Clinical Support Coordination: This role involves working closely with registered nurses and medical teams, helping with basic clinical tasks such as vital sign monitoring, preparing medical equipment, maintaining patient rooms, and ensuring a safe and clean environment aligned with healthcare protocols.
Medical Documentation Assistance: The candidate will assist in updating patient files, recording observations, maintaining accurate notes, and ensuring proper documentation practices that support smooth communication between medical staff and promote efficient treatment workflows.
Hospital Ward Operations: Duties include supporting ward management, maintaining availability of essential supplies, assisting in patient transfers, ensuring timely arrangement of medical items, and contributing to an organized and well-functioning clinical environment.
Patient Communication Support: The Nursing Assistant will act as a supportive link between patients and the nursing team, helping communicate instructions, addressing basic inquiries, providing reassurance, and ensuring patients feel heard, respected, and well cared for during their recovery journey.
Emergency Response Assistance: The role requires readiness to assist during urgent situations by supporting nurses, preparing equipment, responding to rapid instructions, and contributing to organized and effective patient assistance during critical moments within the hospital.
