Role Overview: The MEP Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for overseeing all quantity surveying duties for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing projects. This role demands a detailed understanding of MEP systems and experience in cost control, estimation, and contract management.

Project Estimation: You will be expected to prepare and review BOQs, project estimates, and tender submissions, ensuring accuracy in material quantities and project budgeting. A proactive approach in identifying cost variations and providing cost-effective alternatives will be valued.

Contract Administration: Your responsibilities will include managing subcontractor contracts, evaluating progress claims, and preparing interim payment applications. Experience in FIDIC contracts is preferred.

Cost Monitoring: Regular cost tracking, cash flow forecasting, and financial reporting to management are critical. The MEP QS must identify deviations and provide solutions to remain within budget.

Site Coordination: Coordinate closely with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate quantity takeoffs, site measurements, and change order documentation. Attend site meetings as necessary.

Reporting & Documentation: Maintain complete records for quantity calculations, correspondence, and approvals for auditing and client reporting.
