Role Overview – Advenser we are hiring skilled MEP Draftsmen with 2–10 years of experience to create detailed MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings for construction projects across commercial, residential, and industrial sectors. This role requires strong drafting skills, understanding of MEP systems, and ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to produce clash-free construction documents.

MEP Drafting – You will prepare detailed MEP drawings including HVAC layouts showing ductwork routing, equipment locations, and diffuser placements. Creating electrical schematics with panel schedules, lighting layouts, power distribution, and cable tray routing. Developing plumbing drawings with pipe routing, fixture locations, and drainage systems. Preparing fire protection system drawings with sprinkler layouts, standpipe systems, and fire alarm details using AutoCAD or Revit MEP.

Technical Understanding – Strong understanding of MEP systems, equipment specifications, installation requirements, and coordination principles is required. You should be familiar with HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VAV boxes, and duct design principles. Understanding of electrical systems including transformers, switchgear, panel boards, and electrical loads. Knowledge of plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, sanitary systems, and domestic hot water systems.

BIM Coordination – Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection using Navisworks or similar tools is preferred. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to identify and resolve clashes between architectural, structural, and MEP systems before construction begins. Attending coordination meetings, documenting clash resolutions, and updating drawings accordingly.

Shop Drawing Production – Creating MEP shop drawings and coordination drawings that contractors use for installation on site. Preparing equipment schedules, material takeoffs, and installation details. Ensuring drawings include proper symbols, legends, abbreviations, and notes as per industry standards.

Standards Compliance – Ensuring all MEP drawings comply with international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC, IPC), local building codes, and project specifications. Following drawing standards, layer conventions, and naming protocols established by the project. Maintaining drawing quality and consistency throughout the project lifecycle.

Software Skills – Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory. Experience with Revit MEP for 3D modeling and coordination is highly preferred. Familiarity with MEP calculation tools and coordination software will be advantageous.
