Mechanical Engineering Overview: As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and maintaining mechanical systems that support the operational efficiency of our engineering projects. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical principles, thermodynamics, and system optimization. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that all designs meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and sustainability while staying aligned with client requirements and project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities: Your primary duties will include conducting mechanical design reviews, preparing technical specifications, and ensuring proper selection of materials and components for all mechanical systems. You will also oversee installation, commissioning, and testing activities, ensuring that each system performs efficiently. Monitoring site progress, preparing inspection reports, and resolving design or operational issues will be part of your daily work routine.

Project Planning and Coordination: You will coordinate closely with project managers, design consultants, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of mechanical works within budget. Your expertise will help optimize resource allocation and streamline project execution. Regular coordination meetings will require you to provide updates, track mechanical milestones, and address any discrepancies that could affect the project’s critical path.

Design & Technical Evaluation: The role involves reviewing mechanical layouts, HVAC systems, plumbing networks, and fire protection designs for compliance with standards and regulatory codes. You will prepare technical data sheets, perform equipment sizing, and evaluate tender documents. Ensuring the mechanical integrity of each design will be essential to achieving project success and maintaining client satisfaction.

Maintenance and Quality Assurance: In addition to design responsibilities, you will support the maintenance and troubleshooting of existing mechanical systems. Performing root cause analyses, implementing preventive maintenance plans, and improving system efficiency through data-driven decisions will be key aspects of your work. Your goal will be to uphold quality assurance standards and minimize operational downtime across all assigned sites.
