Job Description
Inspection Duties: As a Materials Inspector, your primary responsibility will be to thoroughly inspect materials used across all construction and oilfield operations. This involves evaluating quality, verifying compliance with specifications, and documenting results. You will ensure that the right materials are being used in each phase of the project to support high-quality output.

Your knowledge of industry-specific materials and best practices will ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance across all operations.
Construction & Oilfield Materials: A strong understanding of materials used in construction, such as steel, concrete, coatings, and insulation, along with oilfield materials like pipes, valves, and fittings, is essential. You'll need to apply inspection protocols for both fields with confidence and precision.
Quality Control & Compliance: You will be responsible for upholding rigorous quality standards. This includes verifying that incoming materials meet project requirements, inspecting materials onsite, and collaborating with procurement and warehouse teams to reject or replace non-compliant items.
Collaboration & Reporting: You’ll work closely with engineers, suppliers, project managers, and procurement officers. Effective communication and comprehensive reporting are essential for successful coordination and keeping projects on schedule.
Attention to Detail: This role demands sharp attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Every inspection must be logged accurately, and any non-conformance must be reported immediately, along with suggested corrective measures.
