Role Overview – Nexus Cargos is looking for a Logistics Coordinator with 1 to 2 years of experience in shipping and logistics customer service who can handle sea, air, and land shipments in Dubai. This position is ideal for logistics professionals with expertise in land, air, and sea freight operations who can coordinate shipments and provide excellent customer service.

Shipment Coordination – You will coordinate sea, air, and land shipments by managing bookings, arranging transportation, tracking cargo movements, liaising with carriers and agents, coordinating customs clearance, and ensuring smooth execution of import and export activities across all transportation modes.

Multi-Modal Freight Operations – You will handle multi-modal freight operations including sea freight consolidation and full container loads, air freight shipments, and land transportation coordination. Your expertise across all modes enables comprehensive logistics coordination.

Customer Service – You will provide excellent logistics customer service by responding to inquiries, providing shipment updates, addressing concerns, coordinating documentation, solving problems, and ensuring customers receive professional support throughout their shipping journey.

Documentation Management – You will manage shipping documentation including bills of lading, air waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists, customs documents, and other paperwork required for international freight movement. Proper documentation ensures regulatory compliance and smooth cargo clearance.

Carrier and Agent Coordination – You will coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, customs brokers, and overseas agents to arrange cargo movement, obtain quotations, resolve issues, and ensure seamless collaboration across the freight forwarding network.

Shipment Tracking – You will track shipment status, monitor cargo movements, provide updates to customers, identify potential delays, proactively communicate issues, and ensure visibility throughout the shipping process.

Quotation Preparation – You will prepare freight quotations for customers by calculating rates, considering different routing options, presenting pricing clearly, and supporting the sales process with accurate, competitive pricing information.

Problem Resolution – You will resolve operational issues such as shipment delays, documentation problems, customs holds, or customer concerns by coordinating with relevant parties, implementing solutions, and maintaining service quality.

Shipping and Logistics Experience – 1 to 2 years of experience in shipping and logistics customer service is required. Your experience should include hands-on work coordinating shipments, managing documentation, and supporting customers in freight forwarding environments.

Multi-Modal Freight Expertise – Expertise in land, air, and sea freight operations is required. You must understand different transportation modes, their processes, documentation requirements, and be capable of coordinating shipments across all modes.

Customer Service Skills – Strong customer service skills are essential for engaging with customers, understanding their needs, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring positive customer experiences throughout shipping processes.

Documentation Knowledge – Knowledge of shipping documentation requirements for sea, air, and land freight including bills of lading, air waybills, customs documents, and international trade paperwork is important for proper documentation management.
