Role Overview: The Laboratory Assistant role at CPL Aromas supports fragrance development and production by ensuring precise handling of raw materials within the laboratory environment. Raw Material Handling and Accuracy: The role requires careful collection, weighing, and movement of synthetic and natural aroma chemicals, oils, and powders from the production warehouse to the laboratory. Accuracy, attention to detail, and strict adherence to standard procedures are essential to maintain consistency and quality throughout fragrance development processes.

Inventory and Stock Coordination: The Laboratory Assistant actively monitors raw material availability, identifies potential stock issues, and ensures sufficient inventory levels to prevent production delays. This includes maintaining accurate stock records, placing daily material requests, and supporting smooth coordination between warehouse, laboratory, and production teams.

Laboratory Support and Collaboration: This position supports compounders, machine minders, perfumers, and production colleagues by ensuring timely availability of required materials and consumables. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential to ensure efficient workflow and uninterrupted laboratory operations.

Quality Control and Labeling Compliance: The role involves packing completed oils, coordinating with quality control teams, and ensuring accurate labeling of all containers with complete traceability details. This ensures compliance with internal quality standards and supports safe handling throughout the production cycle.

Health Safety and Hygiene Standards: The Laboratory Assistant strictly follows health, safety, and hygiene protocols, including proper raw material handling, equipment cleanliness, and workspace organization. Compliance with good manufacturing and laboratory practices is essential to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
