Job Description

Technical Support & Monitoring – The L1 Service Desk Engineer will be the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues. You will provide basic troubleshooting, diagnose technical problems, and escalate more complex issues to higher levels.

System Knowledge & Tools – You should have foundational knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and remote support tools, enabling efficient resolution of routine IT issues. Familiarity with Active Directory and basic server management is essential.

ITSM & Ticket Management – Experience with ITSM ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow or Symphony will be beneficial in tracking, managing, and resolving user queries in a structured and timely manner.

Networking & Servers – A basic understanding of networking concepts and server infrastructure will allow for better coordination with other IT teams and smoother resolution of connectivity-related problems.

Shift Availability & Environment – This role requires working in a 24x7 environment on rotational shifts. Weekend or holiday coverage may be required based on the duty roster, so flexibility is a must.

Teamwork & Communication – Strong interpersonal and communication skills are vital to effectively interact with team members, end-users, and IT professionals. The ability to stay calm under pressure is equally important.
