Role Overview

Blue Gulf Cat is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional for the Junior Accountant Career role in Abu Dhabi. This position is ideal for individuals at the early stage of their accounting career who are looking to gain hands-on experience in financial operations, reporting, and compliance. The successful candidate will support day-to-day accounting activities, ensure accuracy in financial records, and contribute to the efficient functioning of the finance department within a structured and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will assist in maintaining financial records, processing invoices, and recording daily transactions in accordance with company policies and accounting standards. You will support the preparation of financial reports, reconcile accounts, and ensure that all financial data is accurate and up to date. Assisting with accounts payable and receivable, monitoring expenses, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities will also form part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations and help maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance purposes.

Requirements & Qualifications

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills are essential for this role. The ideal candidate must have good communication skills, proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel, and a willingness to learn and grow within the accounting field. Familiarity with accounting software and experience in a similar role will be considered an advantage.
