Role Overview: Caribou Coffee UAE is hiring a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support the finance team at our Dubai head office located on Sheikh Zayed Road. Financial Operations Support: The Junior Accountant will assist in daily accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and expense tracking. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of transactions while ensuring compliance with internal policies and UAE accounting regulations. Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting will be key to success in this role.

Inventory and Cost Control: This role requires close collaboration with the store operations and inventory management teams. You will help prepare and analyze stock count reports, monitor cost variances, and support the finance team in implementing efficient cost-control measures. Prior F&B or retail accounting experience will be advantageous.

Month-End and Year-End Assistance: You will play an essential role in supporting month-end and year-end closing processes. This includes reconciling accounts, preparing reports for review, and assisting auditors by providing necessary documentation and schedules. Maintaining timeliness and accuracy in closing activities will ensure smooth financial reporting cycles.

Data Accuracy and System Management: The Junior Accountant will work with POS systems, ERP platforms, and Excel-based reports to ensure all financial data is up to date and accurate. Candidates with prior exposure to accounting software or F&B point-of-sale systems will be prioritized. Strong analytical skills and a structured work approach are essential.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: This position involves coordination with finance, operations, and procurement teams to verify transactions and resolve discrepancies. You will help streamline communication between departments, ensuring that accounting data reflects operational realities across multiple store locations.
