Job Description
Technical Support and Maintenance: In this role, you will provide essential technical support to end-users by resolving computer hardware, software, and peripheral issues. A significant portion of your duties will involve addressing and troubleshooting problems related to Office 365 services, such as Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint, ensuring minimal downtime and user satisfaction.
System and Network Administration: You will be responsible for managing user accounts within the Microsoft 365 environment. This includes setting up new user emails, managing software licenses, configuring permissions, and maintaining system integrity. Additionally, monitoring and resolving network performance issues will be key to ensuring smooth connectivity to cloud-based services across the organization.
Information Security: As part of your responsibilities, you will implement and enforce security policies to safeguard Microsoft 365 accounts. This includes enabling and managing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), ensuring only authorized users can access critical systems and data. You will also actively monitor suspicious activity through the Microsoft 365 Security Centre and respond to security incidents proactively.
DNS Management: Your role will involve managing DNS records associated with Office 365. You will handle configurations such as MX, CNAME, and TXT records to ensure seamless email delivery and service operations. Prompt resolution of DNS-related issues will be expected to maintain the overall stability of Office 365 cloud services.
Work Environment and Contract Details: This is a contract-based position under the payroll of Sundus, with an initial duration of 6 to 12 months and the possibility of renewal. The role follows a 5-day workweek schedule and is based in Abu Dhabi. Only candidates who are currently residing in the UAE will be considered for this position.
Ideal Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in IT support roles, particularly within Microsoft 365 environments. They should demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, a proactive attitude towards problem-solving, and the ability to handle IT issues independently and efficiently.
