Position Overview: The HSE Officer will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of health, safety, and environmental compliance on all infrastructure and construction projects. This position plays a critical role in preventing workplace accidents, maintaining compliance with UAE regulations, and fostering a strong safety culture within the organization. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to influence positive safety behaviors across diverse project teams.

Responsibilities and Duties: The HSE Officer will oversee all on-site safety operations, conduct regular inspections, identify hazards, and enforce compliance with safety protocols. You will lead safety inductions, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure all employees are well-trained in using protective equipment. Daily safety checks and coordination with project supervisors will ensure ongoing site safety and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.

Compliance and Reporting: In this role, you will maintain comprehensive safety documentation including daily logs, risk assessments, and accident investigation reports. You will also liaise with local authorities and ensure that all health and safety regulations are strictly followed. The HSE Officer will prepare regular reports for management review, highlighting potential risks, trends, and preventive measures to maintain operational excellence.

Safety Program Implementation: The successful candidate will develop and implement site-specific safety programs and ensure that all workers are compliant with company and statutory safety requirements. You will monitor contractor performance, conduct regular safety drills, and continuously review the effectiveness of safety management systems to improve overall workplace safety.

Required Expertise and Competence: We are seeking a candidate who has strong expertise in HSE compliance, site inspections, risk management, and safety audits. The HSE Officer should have the ability to assess complex safety challenges and implement effective solutions. You must be well-versed in UAE HSE laws and have excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and government authorities.

Team Collaboration: The HSE Officer will work closely with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure that safety procedures are fully integrated into all project activities. You will support team members in understanding safety expectations and help build a workplace culture based on awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement in safety performance.
