Job Description

Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Head of Inclusion to lead and oversee the school’s inclusive education strategy. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing learning support departments and designing IEPs in alignment with KHDA and American Curriculum standards.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and monitor individualized learning plans, lead a team of support teachers, and coordinate with classroom educators to ensure every student receives personalized support.

Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all inclusive education practices meet KHDA requirements, maintain accurate documentation, and liaise with parents and external specialists.

Team Leadership: Lead workshops and trainings to build teacher capacity in differentiation and inclusive instruction. Provide guidance on best practices for working with students of determination.

Student Advocacy: Act as a key advocate for students with learning difficulties, ensuring equal opportunities and facilitating social integration within the school community.

Professional Development: Keep abreast of best practices in special education and implement innovative support strategies and teaching methodologies.
