Role Overview – Danat Al Emarat Hospital is hiring a Guest Service Officer for a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This position is ideal for customer-focused professionals with strong hospitality skills, healthcare sector knowledge, and the ability to provide exceptional guest services, coordinate patient and visitor needs, manage inquiries, and deliver concierge-level support within a premium healthcare environment.

Guest Reception and Welcome Services – You will provide guest reception and welcome services by greeting patients, visitors, and guests warmly and professionally, welcoming arrivals to the hospital, providing orientation to facilities, offering assistance with navigation, creating positive first impressions, and ensuring every patient and visitor feels valued and supported from their first interaction.

Patient and Visitor Assistance – You will assist patients and visitors by responding to inquiries about hospital services, departments, physicians, visiting hours, and facilities, providing directions and wayfinding support, coordinating wheelchairs and porter services, assisting with patient escort services, managing visitor registration, and ensuring patients and families receive attentive, personalized assistance.

Concierge Services and Special Requests – You will provide concierge services by managing special requests from patients and families (flowers, gifts, newspapers, meals, dietary preferences), coordinating external services (translation, transportation, accommodation for families), arranging appointments and reservations, providing local area information, and delivering personalized, hospitality-level service within the healthcare setting.

VIP and Premium Patient Services – You will manage VIP and premium patient services by coordinating VIP patient arrivals and admissions, ensuring discreet, personalized service for premium patients, managing special amenities and room preparations, coordinating with clinical teams on VIP care requirements, facilitating VIP requests, and delivering exceptional experiences that meet luxury healthcare expectations.
