General Ledger Management: The General Finance Accountant will oversee the full scope of general ledger reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with IFRS standards. This role requires attention to detail to maintain a robust financial reporting system.

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Support management with actionable insights derived from financial data for decision-making.

VAT & Compliance Support: Assist in VAT calculations, submissions, and liaise with relevant authorities to ensure full compliance with UAE tax regulations. Provide supporting documentation and manage audit queries when necessary.

Fixed Assets & Treasury Functions: Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, calculate depreciation, and manage treasury functions including fund allocation, bank reconciliations, and cash management to optimize financial operations.

ERP & System Expertise: Utilize ERP software (Odoo preferred) to maintain accurate financial records, process journal entries, and ensure all accounting processes are aligned with organizational policies. Train and support junior staff in ERP use.

Collaboration & Support: Work closely with internal teams including procurement, operations, and management to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis. Serve as a reliable point of contact for all finance-related inquiries.
