Accounting Role Overview: The General Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the financial health of the company by overseeing accounting tasks, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

Daily Responsibilities: The role includes preparing journal entries, managing general ledger reconciliations, assisting in month-end and year-end closing processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Tax and Compliance: The candidate must stay current with local financial regulations and tax laws in the UAE. Ensuring VAT compliance and assisting with audits will be among the key responsibilities.

Financial Reporting: Timely preparation of financial statements including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements will be required. Reports will need to be accurate and align with company standards.

Vendor and Client Coordination: The accountant will also coordinate with suppliers and clients for payment follow-ups, bank reconciliations, and resolution of discrepancies to ensure smooth transactions.

Preferred Candidate Profile: Preference will be given to candidates who already possess their own visa, demonstrating flexibility and readiness to join without visa processing delays.
