Job Description
Client Acquisition and Lead Generation: As a Field Sales Executive, your core responsibility will be acquiring new clients for Clarion’s freight forwarding services. You will proactively identify leads, build a sales pipeline, and conduct field visits to prospective clients to introduce our offerings and convert leads into active customers.
Sales Strategy Implementation: You will implement sales strategies aligned with the company’s objectives. By understanding client requirements and logistics challenges, you will present tailored solutions that highlight Clarion’s capabilities in international shipping and freight forwarding.
Client Relationship Management: Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients is key to sustainable sales growth. You will ensure regular follow-ups, resolve customer concerns promptly, and build trust to promote long-term client engagement and repeat business.
Market Research and Competitor Analysis: You will stay up to date with market trends, competitors' activities, and customer behavior within the freight forwarding sector. This will allow you to provide feedback to management for pricing, promotions, and service improvements.
Reporting and CRM Updates: Your role will require consistent documentation and reporting. You'll be expected to update the sales CRM daily with meeting notes, follow-up actions, and customer feedback to ensure transparency and smooth team collaboration.
Collaboration with Operations Team: While working independently in the field, you will closely coordinate with the internal operations and logistics team to ensure client expectations are met, shipments are handled efficiently, and service quality is maintained.
