Role Overview: The Estimation Engineer will focus on preparing accurate cost estimates for civil and oil & gas projects in the UAE. This position involves reviewing project specifications, analyzing quantities, and supporting tender submissions to ensure competitive and profitable bids.

Cost Estimation & BOQs: You will be responsible for preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), performing rate analysis, and estimating material, labor, and equipment costs. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical for ensuring project success and financial feasibility.

Tender Support: You will assist the Tendering & Estimation Manager in compiling submission documents, ensuring all technical and commercial requirements are met. Collaboration with procurement, project managers, and technical teams is essential to produce high-quality tenders.

Project Analysis: You will study engineering drawings, technical specifications, and client requirements to identify potential cost risks and optimization opportunities. Applying industry best practices and UAE standards in civil and oil & gas projects is key to this role.

Supplier & Contractor Coordination: You will communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to collect competitive quotations, verify material rates, and ensure cost-effectiveness. Strong negotiation skills and maintaining professional relationships are necessary.

Technical Collaboration: This role requires working closely with project, technical, and procurement teams to ensure cost estimates align with project execution plans. Maintaining accurate records and documentation is essential for ongoing projects and future reference.
