Role Overview – Al Nasr Contracting is seeking experienced survey professionals to join our team for ongoing infrastructure projects (utilities and roads) in Dubai, UAE. We have openings for Surveyors (3 positions) . These positions are ideal for surveying professionals with infrastructure project experience who can support our utilities and roads construction activities.

Survey Operations and Coordination – You will conduct comprehensive surveying operations for infrastructure projects including setting out for utilities and road works, establishing control points, performing topographic surveys, monitoring construction progress, conducting as-built surveys, verifying construction accuracy, and providing critical survey data that supports project planning and execution.

Total Station and GPS Operations – You will be proficient in operating Total Station and GPS equipment for precise measurements, establish survey stations, take accurate angular and distance measurements, conduct GPS positioning for control networks, perform coordinate transformations, calibrate equipment regularly, ensure measurement accuracy, and utilize advanced surveying technology effectively.

Utilities and Road Layout Surveys – You will demonstrate strong understanding of utilities and road layouts by setting out for water lines, sewer lines, drainage systems, electrical conduits, telecommunications infrastructure, and road alignments. You will mark centerlines, edge lines, grade stakes, utility crossings, and ensure infrastructure is constructed according to design specifications.

Survey Software Proficiency – You will use survey software for data processing, coordinate calculations, creating digital terrain models, preparing survey drawings, generating volume calculations, adjusting survey networks, importing/exporting survey data, and producing accurate digital deliverables that support design and construction teams.

Survey Reports and Drawings – You will prepare accurate survey reports and drawings including site plans, cross-sections, longitudinal sections, contour maps, utility location drawings, as-built drawings, setting-out drawings, and technical survey documentation. You will ensure reports are detailed, accurate, and delivered timely to support project requirements.

Site Measurements and Data Collection – You will conduct site measurements including leveling, traversing, detail surveys, volume measurements, grade checks, alignment verification, and dimensional controls. You will collect field data systematically, maintain field notes, verify measurements, and ensure data quality for processing and reporting.

Construction Layout and Setting Out – You will perform construction layout by setting out building footprints, road alignments, utility trenches, manholes, structural elements, and other construction features according to design plans. You will work closely with construction teams, provide dimensional guidance, verify construction accuracy, and support quality construction execution.

Quality Control and Verification – You will implement quality control measures by checking survey accuracy, verifying measurements against design specifications, conducting dimensional inspections, identifying deviations, reporting non-conformances, coordinating corrections, and ensuring survey work meets project quality standards and specifications.
