Job Description
Role Overview: The Document Controller will be tasked with managing project documentation, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining the confidentiality of company and client records. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills.
Document Management: Control the numbering, sorting, filing, storing, and retrieval of electronic and hard copy documents. Ensure that documents are accurate and accessible when needed.
Quality Assurance: Follow company protocols for document control processes to maintain ISO compliance. Regularly audit documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Correspondence Handling: Manage incoming and outgoing communications between clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal departments. Maintain a professional tone and accuracy in records.
Database Maintenance: Update and maintain the document control database with the latest revisions of drawings, technical submittals, and contracts.
Confidentiality & Security: Ensure documents are backed up, secured, and only accessible to authorized personnel. Prevent document loss or unauthorized alterations.
