Debt Collection Responsibilities: As a Debt Collector – Officer, you will be responsible for managing overdue accounts and ensuring the timely recovery of outstanding payments. You will directly communicate with clients, customers, and businesses to negotiate repayment schedules while maintaining a professional and respectful approach.

Banking Sector Knowledge: This role requires prior experience in the banking sector with an understanding of UAE financial products and services. Familiarity with loan structures, credit cards, and personal banking operations will help you effectively handle customer conversations and repayment agreements.

Regulatory Compliance: A critical aspect of this role is adhering to the regulations and compliance guidelines issued by the Central Bank of the UAE. You will ensure that all collection activities are conducted ethically, professionally, and in line with regulatory requirements.

Customer Interaction: You will engage with clients over phone calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings when required. The ability to remain calm, empathetic, and persuasive during difficult conversations is essential to achieving successful outcomes in debt recovery.

Negotiation & Problem Solving: Debt collection requires effective negotiation skills. You will work to create payment plans that are suitable for both the company and the customer, ensuring financial commitments are met while maintaining positive client relationships.

Team Collaboration: You will work alongside a team of collectors and report progress to management. Collaboration, sharing best practices, and supporting colleagues are crucial to improving the team’s overall success rate.
