Customer Service Representative – Role Overview: The Customer Service Representative will serve as a key liaison between clients and internal departments at Food Emporium. This role requires excellent communication, organizational abilities, and a strong understanding of order processing within the food distribution sector.
Client Communication & Support: The CSR will handle inquiries from clients, resolve issues, and provide product and order information in a professional and timely manner. Building long-term relationships with clients through consistent communication is a major part of this role.
LPO Handling & Order Processing: A critical responsibility includes receiving, verifying, and processing Local Purchase Orders (LPOs). The CSR will coordinate with sales and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation.
Sales Coordination: The CSR will provide direct support to the sales department by preparing quotations, following up with clients on pending orders, and ensuring sales data is properly updated in the system.
Logistics & Distribution Coordination: The role involves close collaboration with the warehouse and delivery teams to track shipments, manage delivery schedules, and ensure smooth distribution of food products.
Problem-Solving & Escalations: The CSR must handle complaints effectively, investigate issues, and escalate matters to management when necessary. Quick problem resolution ensures customer satisfaction and retention.
