Role Overview – ERC International is hiring a Communication Specialist for a leading organization within the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector in Dubai. This opportunity is suited for locally experienced communication professionals with strong media, stakeholder, and corporate communications exposure who can manage comprehensive communication functions in the pharmaceutical industry.

Corporate Communications Management – You will manage corporate communications by developing communication strategies, creating key messages, preparing corporate announcements, managing internal communications, and ensuring consistent, professional communication that supports the organization's reputation and business objectives.

Media Relations – You will handle media relations including building relationships with journalists and media outlets, preparing press releases, coordinating media inquiries, arranging interviews, managing media coverage, and positioning the organization favorably in pharmaceutical and business media.

Stakeholder Communications – You will manage stakeholder communications by engaging with internal and external stakeholders including employees, investors, partners, regulatory bodies, and industry associations. Effective stakeholder communication ensures alignment, builds relationships, and supports organizational goals.

Content Development – You will develop communication content including articles, newsletters, presentations, speeches, reports, website content, and other materials that communicate effectively with various audiences while maintaining professional standards and brand consistency.

Crisis Communication Support – You will support crisis communication efforts by preparing communication protocols, monitoring issues, coordinating responses, managing sensitive communications, and ensuring the organization responds appropriately to challenging situations.

Digital and Social Media – You will manage digital and social media communications, developing content for online platforms, monitoring social channels, engaging audiences, and leveraging digital tools to enhance organizational visibility and stakeholder engagement.

Event Communication – You will support event communications including conferences, product launches, industry events, and corporate functions by preparing communication materials, coordinating media coverage, and ensuring effective communication before, during, and after events.

Reporting and Measurement – You will track communication effectiveness, prepare reports on media coverage, measure engagement metrics, analyze communication impact, and provide insights that inform strategy and demonstrate communication value.

Local Experience – Local UAE experience is required. You should be familiar with the UAE business environment, media landscape, cultural considerations, and regulatory context specific to communications in the pharmaceutical sector.

Media Relations Expertise – Strong media relations exposure is essential. You should have proven experience building media relationships, managing press inquiries, securing coverage, and positioning organizations effectively in media.

Stakeholder Communication Skills – Strong stakeholder communication exposure is required. You must be skilled at engaging diverse stakeholder groups, understanding their needs, tailoring messages appropriately, and maintaining productive relationships.

Corporate Communications Background – Corporate communications exposure in professional, regulated, or multinational environments is important. Understanding corporate communication standards, governance, compliance, and professional protocols supports effective pharmaceutical communications.
