Job Description
Role Overview – Advenser We are hiring Business Development Engineer Trainees with engineering background and 2–10 years of experience to support business development activities and contribute to Advenser's growth. This role combines technical knowledge with business development skills, offering engineers an opportunity to transition into client-facing roles while leveraging their technical expertise to drive business growth.
Client Engagement – You will engage with potential clients including architects, contractors, builders, developers, and construction companies to understand their project requirements and present Advenser's engineering services. Building relationships through professional networking, attending industry events, and maintaining regular communication with prospects. Conducting discovery calls to understand client pain points and positioning Advenser's solutions effectively.
Technical Understanding – Leveraging your engineering background to understand client technical needs, project complexities, and deliverable requirements. Effectively communicating how Advenser's engineering services in facade detailing, MEP drafting, BIM modeling, rebar detailing, and other disciplines can add value to client projects. Translating technical requirements into business proposals and solutions that address client needs.
Lead Generation – Identifying and qualifying new business leads through research, LinkedIn prospecting, cold calling, email campaigns, and networking activities. Researching target companies, understanding their project portfolios, and identifying decision-makers. Following up with prospects consistently, scheduling meetings, and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline in CRM system.
Proposal Development – Assisting in preparing technical proposals, presentations, scope of work documents, and quotations for prospective clients. Collaborating with technical teams to ensure proposals are accurate, competitive, and aligned with client expectations. Understanding pricing strategies and creating value propositions that differentiate Advenser from competitors.
Market Research – Conducting market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities in different geographic regions. Understanding market dynamics in USA, UAE, Australia, and other target markets where Advenser operates.
Sales Support – Supporting senior business development managers in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations. Preparing meeting agendas, taking notes, and ensuring timely follow-ups. Managing client communications and maintaining professional relationships throughout the sales cycle.
Learning and Growth – This trainee position offers structured learning opportunities in business development processes, client management, sales strategies, and negotiation skills. You will receive mentorship from experienced business development professionals while leveraging your engineering knowledge. Growth potential into senior business development roles based on performance and achievement of sales targets.
CRM Management – Maintaining accurate records of all client interactions, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM system. Tracking lead status, updating pipeline stages, and generating reports on business development metrics.
