Role Overview – Advenser we are hiring experienced BIM Engineers with 2–10 years of hands-on experience to work on Building Information Modeling projects across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines. This role requires strong Revit modeling skills, BIM coordination expertise, and ability to work in a collaborative BIM environment to deliver high-quality models for construction projects.

BIM Modeling – You will create detailed 3D BIM models using Revit for architectural, structural, or MEP systems based on your area of expertise. Developing accurate models that serve as the single source of truth for project information, construction documentation, and coordination. For architectural discipline, modeling building elements including walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, and architectural components. For structural discipline, modeling structural elements including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and connections. For MEP discipline, modeling HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems with equipment, ductwork, piping, and fixtures.

Coordination and Clash Detection – Conducting BIM coordination meetings with multidisciplinary teams, performing clash detection using Navisworks, and systematically resolving interdisciplinary conflicts. Identifying hard clashes (physical intersections) and soft clashes (clearance violations) between different building systems. Coordinating solutions with team members and updating models to achieve clash-free designs before construction begins to avoid costly site issues and rework.

Standards and Protocols – Following BIM execution plans (BEP), modeling standards, naming conventions, and level of development (LOD) requirements specific to each project phase. Ensuring models meet client-specific BIM standards and protocols. Maintaining proper model organization, view templates, and annotation standards for consistency across the project team.

Model Quality Control – Performing regular model quality checks, identifying and fixing modeling errors, maintaining model performance, and ensuring file sizes remain manageable. Using model checking tools to validate geometry, detect inconsistencies, and ensure models meet quality standards before deliverable submissions.

Drawing Extraction – Extracting 2D construction drawings from 3D BIM models including plans, sections, elevations, and details. Creating sheet sets with proper title blocks, schedules, and annotations. Ensuring drawings extracted from models are coordinated and construction-ready.

Collaboration – Working with architects, engineers, and contractors in a collaborative BIM environment using cloud-based platforms like BIM 360 or ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud). Participating in design reviews, coordination meetings, and contributing to continuous improvement of BIM processes and workflows within the organization.

Family Creation – Creating custom Revit families for specialized building components, equipment, or fixtures that are not available in standard libraries. Developing parametric families that are flexible, lightweight, and meet project modeling requirements.
