Job Description

Role Overview – Al Tayer Group is hiring an Assistant Audit Manager for a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. This position is ideal for analytical professionals with strong audit expertise, internal control knowledge, and the ability to support audit operations effectively, conduct audit procedures, ensure compliance, identify risks, maintain audit documentation, and develop audit career within a dynamic automotive and engineering services organization.

Internal Audit Support and Coordination – You will support internal audit functions by assisting audit managers, coordinating audit activities, and supporting audit execution. You will organize audit schedules, prepare audit materials, and support audit team coordination. You will ensure smooth audit operations and effective audit planning and execution.

Audit Planning and Procedures – You will assist in audit planning by developing audit procedures, preparing audit checklists, and organizing audit documentation. You will support audit scope definition and coordinate with audit managers. You will prepare comprehensive audit procedures supporting systematic audit execution.

Risk Assessment and Identification – You will assist in risk assessment by identifying potential risks, evaluating risk significance, and documenting risk findings. You will analyze control weaknesses and support risk mitigation. You should identify operational and compliance risks affecting organization.

Internal Control Evaluation – You will evaluate internal controls by testing control effectiveness, assessing control design, and identifying control gaps. You will document control findings and recommend improvements. You should understand internal control frameworks and evaluation methodologies.

Compliance Testing and Verification – You will test compliance by verifying adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations. You will document compliance status, identify violations, and support remediation. You should conduct thorough compliance testing and verification.

Financial Documentation Review – You will review financial documentation by examining supporting records, verifying transactions, and assessing accuracy. You will identify documentation gaps and support audit conclusions. You should conduct detailed financial documentation analysis.
