Job Overview: Diyafah International School is seeking a creative and dedicated Art Teacher to join our academic team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual arts and a solid foundation in delivering the IGCSE/British Curriculum. This position requires the ability to inspire creativity, develop artistic skills, and foster appreciation for the arts in young learners.

Curriculum & Instruction: The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging lessons in drawing, painting, design, sculpture, and mixed media. You will be expected to integrate both traditional and contemporary art forms while aligning with the school's curriculum standards. Your lesson plans should stimulate imagination and promote independent artistic expression.

Student Engagement: You will encourage students to explore and express their artistic talents through individual and group projects. Creating a supportive classroom environment that motivates learners to take creative risks and improve their techniques is essential. Experience in preparing students for art exhibitions or competitions will be considered a plus.

Assessment & Feedback: As an Art Teacher, you will assess student work based on creativity, technical ability, and effort. Providing timely, constructive feedback and maintaining accurate records of progress are key components of the role. Participation in parent-teacher meetings and contributing to progress reports is required.

Team Collaboration: You will collaborate with colleagues in cross-curricular art integration projects and contribute to school-wide cultural or creative events. Being a team player with the willingness to share best practices and engage in continuous professional development is important.

Candidate Profile: The successful applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or a related discipline, along with a recognized teaching qualification. A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching the British or IGCSE curriculum is essential. Preference will be given to native English speakers with a dynamic teaching approach and a strong classroom presence.
